Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Viriato Moura kicked off to start the match. Wilson Amorim came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by Los Delfines's Daniel Abeitia. But to his dismay, Daniel Abeitia quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 6th minute Daniel Pimentel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matías Patrone saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 7th minute Dino Saurio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilson Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Felipe Barreto struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Matías Patrone didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Portugal. 12 minutes into the game, Los Delfines's Ezequiel Artizar nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Wilson Amorim made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Matías Patrone showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felipe Barreto in the 17th minute of the match. Los Delfines's Matías Patrone played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Viriato Moura in the 23rd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Viriato Moura in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Matías Patrone prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Wilson Amorim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ezequiel Artizar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ezequiel Artizar to strike the kick off in the second half. Hilario Asteri made in the 52nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Portugal's Bruno Bastos. An unexpectedly hard shot by Viriato Moura in the 54th minute of play forced Los Delfines's goalkeeper Matías Patrone to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Felipe Barreto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Felipe Barreto got free with Matías Patrone in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Los Delfines made a substitution. Saverio Regis replaced Daniel Abeitia. Portugal's Bartolomeu Dias was substituted for Viriato Moura. Los Delfines's Victor Jerrold was substituted for Ubaldo Norino. In the 73rd minute of the match Portugal got a corner. Los Delfines's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Pimentel ran over to the corner to take the kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Felipinho Amorim heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. When Portugal's Bartolomeu Dias in the 77th minute got a chance for a shot 77th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Los Delfines's goalie prevented a goal. The audience was convinced that Bartolomeu Dias's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Matías Patrone was relentless in the 81st minute of the game. Dani Cáceres's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Wilson Amorim read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. In the 86th minute Bartolomeu Dias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matías Patrone saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 87thth minute of the game Lucas Urbez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Portugal's Wilson Amorim was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 90 minutes into the match, Lucas Urbez had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Wilson Amorim. Portugal's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lucas Urbez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Bartolomeu Dias hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Los Delfines's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
