Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Viriato Moura started the match with the kick off. Lázaro Colon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Viriato Moura in the 7th minute of the match. Wilson Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Uriel Isias in the 8th minute of play. Nicanor Porfirio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Wilson Amorim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Felipe Barreto took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 12th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Lázaro Colon. Juniors FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Portugal's defense didn't have a chance, in the 15th minute, when Uriel Isias scored to the left of an out of position Wilson Amorim, making the score, 1-0. With a little luck, Portugal's Wilson Amorim got control of the ball when Uriel Isias tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Armando Urbes during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Juniors FC getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Armando Urbes hit a great ball. Wilson Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Uriel Isias in the 28th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Viriato Moura in the 29th minute of play forced Juniors FC's goalkeeper Lázaro Colon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Portugal fans' excitement grew in the 29th match minute when Portugal's Viriato Moura looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Portugal's defense didn't have a chance, in the 34th minute, when Uriel Isias scored to the left of an out of position Wilson Amorim, making the score, 2-2. After a defensive mix-up in Portugal's zone, Uriel Isias stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wilson Amorim came out of the goal and Uriel Isias tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 41 played minutes Juniors FC got a freekick which was hit by Kami Glik. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Uriel Isias stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Through an outstanding action, after 53 minutes, Lázaro Colon successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Uriel Isias struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Wilson Amorim didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Juniors FC. After a defensive mix-up in Portugal's zone, Uriel Isias stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wilson Amorim came out of the goal and Uriel Isias tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 73 minutes into the match, Juniors FC's goal looked a bit too open when Bartolomeu Dias came free, but Lázaro Colon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 73rd minute Bartolomeu Dias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lázaro Colon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Portugal defense, Enrique Frasco kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Wilson Amorim. The Portugal fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Wilson Amorim should have stopped the shot. Juniors FC's Virgilio Satordi quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Faustino Almeida, made in the 82nd minute of the game. In the 87th minute, Enrique Frasco made a precise shot to the right of Wilson Amorim. Portugal's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-2. Juniors FC's Enrique Frasco got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 95th minute, Portugal's Bartolomeu Dias ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Lázaro Colon. Lázaro Colon yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 6-3.
