Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Perivaldo Eger started the match with the kick off. Perivaldo Eger could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 2nd minute of the match, but Tommy Kahn made a huge save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Frank Sachs in the 6th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mike Zoetmulder saved De Pelgrims from getting behind. Frank Sachs's late challenge caught a De Pelgrims's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Frank Sachs helped the player get up and apologised. After 9 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Frank Sachs. Perivaldo Eger's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Tommy Kahn firmly grabbed it by the left post. The supporters of Germany booed when De Pelgrims was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mike van Zeijl didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mike van Zeijl in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tommy Kahn saved Germany from getting behind. In the 21st minute Mike van Zeijl shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Perivaldo Eger received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Tommy Kahn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fu Peng Feng during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 28 played minutes De Pelgrims got a freekick which was hit by Fu Peng Feng. Tommy Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mike van Zeijl, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Fu Peng Feng made a great header on De Pelgrims's corner, it was just that Germany's Tommy Kahn managed to reach the ball for a save. Germany's defense didn't have a chance, in the 36th minute, when Perivaldo Eger scored to the left of an out of position Tommy Kahn, making the score, 1-0. In the 38th minute, Perivaldo Eger left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The De Pelgrims fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. After a rather tough play, De Pelgrims's Huub Gerrits got a free kick in the 41st minute. Mathias de Ruijter came free with the goalkeeper in the 43rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Tommy Kahn could save by the left post. 47 minutes into the match, Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mathias de Ruijter. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Frank Sachs was the one to do the kick off. Germany's Tommy Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mathias de Ruijter in the 54th minute of play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 57th minute of the game. One of De Pelgrims:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Germany:s goal. Mike Zoetmulder had in the 57thth minute some difficulties stopping Frank Sachs's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Mike van Zeijl hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. When Sven Krakouer fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Germany's protests and gave Sven Krakouer a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of De Pelgrims booed when Germany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sven Krakouer didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tommy Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zé Pedro Figueiredo in the 70th minute of the match. In the 71st match minute, De Pelgrims was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mathias de Ruijter to maneuver through the defense. In the 74th minute, Fu Peng Feng hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Huub Gerrits hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. De Pelgrims's Mike Zoetmulder played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albin Holweck in the 80th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Perivaldo Eger in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tommy Kahn saved Germany from getting behind. When the match had gone on for 84 minutes, Perivaldo Eger put it in 4-0 from a short distance just to the right of Tommy Kahn. Mathias de Ruijter recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Germany's Tommy Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Perivaldo Eger in the 89th minute of play. Tommy Kahn didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Perivaldo Eger went, in the 92nd minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. Albin Holweck fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mike Zoetmulder having to interfere. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. De Pelgrims fully deserved thier win.
