Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Gijsbert ter Kruimer took the kick off in the first half of the match. A collision led to Matheu City FC getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Ruperto Serafo hit a great ball. Celedonio Eguen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wim Wilmes in the 6th minute of play. In the 16th minute Lars Meesters shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Celedonio Eguen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Celedonio Eguen came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer. But to his dismay, Gijsbert ter Kruimer quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Gustaaf Groeneveldt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Celedonio Eguen having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Ruperto Serafo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Arnout Reekers. That made the score 1-1 in the 24 minute of play. If Wim Wilmes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arnout Reekers came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by Matheu City FC's Minas Makris. But to his dismay, Minas Makris quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. After a rather tough play, Netherlands's Gust Ennemans got a free kick in the 41st minute. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save Netherlands from getting a goal against them. When the match had gone on for 45 minutes, Minas Makris put it in 3-1 from a short distance just to the right of Arnout Reekers. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Netherlands's Arnout Reekers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Minas Makris in the 54th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vicente Marin in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arnout Reekers saved Netherlands from getting behind. When the match clock showed 58 minutes, the score became 4-1 when Vicente Marin sped through Netherlands's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Arnout Reekers. 62 minutes into the game, Matheu City FC's Robinho Salgado nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Arnout Reekers made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wim Wilmes in the 67th minute of play forced Matheu City FC's goalkeeper Celedonio Eguen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 71 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when Robinho Salgado came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Celedonio Eguen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lars Meesters, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gustaaf Groeneveldt came free with the goalkeeper in the 77th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Celedonio Eguen could save by the left post. After a defensive mix-up in Matheu City FC's zone, Gustaaf Groeneveldt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Celedonio Eguen came out of the goal and Gustaaf Groeneveldt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Arnout Reekers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Minas Makris, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Celedonio Eguen made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Gustaaf Groeneveldt sent off a good shot on target. In the 95th minute of the match, Lars Meesters tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Celedonio Eguen saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Matheu City FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
