When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gijsbert ter Kruimer made a kick off. Gijsbert ter Kruimer hit a great ball. 71 minutes into the match, Anselmo Bakar had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Arnout Reekers. Netherlands's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Anselmo Bakar was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Arnout Reekers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anselmo Bakar, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Henk Horneber in the 77th minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
