Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Tiburcio Marques got the match started through his kick off. In the 5th minute Alex Serban shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Blas Colas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Romania's Carol Stinga proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save Romania from getting a goal against them. Tiburcio Marques struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Carol Stinga didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ₡ösᴛᴀ ᴆᴇ ₿ᴀʀᴙɪĿ. 17 minutes into the match, ₡ösᴛᴀ ᴆᴇ ₿ᴀʀᴙɪĿ's goal looked a bit too open when Adam Olaru came free, but Blas Colas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 18 played minutes ₡ösᴛᴀ ᴆᴇ ₿ᴀʀᴙɪĿ got a freekick which was hit by Wladyslaw Cielencki. ₡ösᴛᴀ ᴆᴇ ₿ᴀʀᴙɪĿ's Blas Colas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adam Olaru in the 23rd minute of play. In the 27th minute Costica Vladimiri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Blas Colas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. ₡ösᴛᴀ ᴆᴇ ₿ᴀʀᴙɪĿ's Blas Colas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Costica Vladimiri in the 30th minute of play. 31 minutes into the match, Alex Serban had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Blas Colas. ₡ösᴛᴀ ᴆᴇ ₿ᴀʀᴙɪĿ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alex Serban was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Costica Vladimiri in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Blas Colas saved ₡ösᴛᴀ ᴆᴇ ₿ᴀʀᴙɪĿ from getting behind. In the 41stth minute of the game Tiburcio Marques who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Romania's Carol Stinga was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 42 minutes, Adam Olaru managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Romania's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adam Olaru was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 44 minutes into the match, ₡ösᴛᴀ ᴆᴇ ₿ᴀʀᴙɪĿ's goal looked a bit too open when Costica Vladimiri came free, but Blas Colas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Adam Olaru to make the kick off. Costica Vladimiri recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 50th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 52 minutes into the game, Romania's Rasvan Cristescu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Blas Colas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Blas Colas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Costica Vladimiri in the 58th minute. ₡ösᴛᴀ ᴆᴇ ₿ᴀʀᴙɪĿ's Ricardo Chepe was substituted for Waclaw Gniech. ₡ösᴛᴀ ᴆᴇ ₿ᴀʀᴙɪĿ's Jorge Joachim was substituted for Tiburcio Marques. Romania's Anton Stinga was substituted for Adam Olaru. Romania's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Sanda Cutov in the 61st minute. The corner led Romania's Sanda Cutov to fire away a dangerous shot which Blas Colas despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ovidio Marin in the 63rd minute of play forced Romania's goalkeeper Carol Stinga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jorge Joachim's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Carol Stinga read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in ₡ösᴛᴀ ᴆᴇ ₿ᴀʀᴙɪĿ's zone, Anton Stinga stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Blas Colas came out of the goal and Anton Stinga tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Romania's Alexandru Pangratiu was substituted for Alex Serban. In the 69th minute, Jorge Joachim left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ₡ösᴛᴀ ᴆᴇ ₿ᴀʀᴙɪĿ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. After a defensive mix-up in ₡ösᴛᴀ ᴆᴇ ₿ᴀʀᴙɪĿ's zone, Sanda Cutov stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Blas Colas came out of the goal and Sanda Cutov tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Romania were awarded a corner in the 80th minute after ₡ösᴛᴀ ᴆᴇ ₿ᴀʀᴙɪĿ's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Sanda Cutov took the corner. Blas Colas was a little too slow when Anton Stinga got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 82nd minute. The score was now 2-3. Blas Colas was a little too slow when Octavian Vaduva got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 94th minute. The score was now 2-5.
