Yves Dervaux fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniel Sarracino having to interfere. Daniel Sarracino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edward Vanderstraeten, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lenny Clocheret was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 46 minutes into the match. After 45 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Belgium! Belgium:s Casper Claes showed great skill when he stopped Aurelio Bizi:s penalty. 47 minutes into the game, Lagrima en Jarrita's Aurelio Bizi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Casper Claes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3.

The wind increased when Yves Dervaux made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute of the match Belgium's Siebe Michiels broke free and sent away a ball that went into the goal by the right post. 1-4. The supporters of Belgium booed when Lagrima en Jarrita was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Garcilaso Garcha didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Yves Dervaux managed to get in a good position for a shot. In the 76th minute, Belgium's Yves Dervaux ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Daniel Sarracino. Daniel Sarracino yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-6. Siebe Michiels struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Apolo Olayo made in the 83rd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Aurelio Bizi immediately put the ball in play. In the 85th minute, Yves Dervaux reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Daniel Sarracino. The goal made the score 1-7. If Yves Dervaux had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Belgium's Edward Vanderstraeten was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Daniel Sarracino in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 95th minute, Edward Vanderstraeten ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Daniel Sarracino was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-8. Belgium's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
