Netherlands's supporters rose to their feet, but Gijsbert ter Kruimer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bartosz Ziemniak breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 14th minute of the match, Rolando Misael got a very nice opportunity to score, but Arnout Reekers was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Fractal FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Leonides Jatsu in the 16th minute. The corner led Fractal FC's Leonides Jatsu to fire away a dangerous shot which Arnout Reekers despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 28th minute Lars Meesters shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bartosz Ziemniak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rolando Misael hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. 30 minutes into the match, Fractal FC's goal looked a bit too open when Wim Wilmes came free, but Bartosz Ziemniak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bartosz Ziemniak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wim Wilmes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Netherlands booed when Fractal FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arturo Lorien didn't get a good kick on the ball. 39 minutes into the game, Netherlands's Wim Wilmes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fernan Ler made a kick off. Gijsbert ter Kruimer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 50th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fernan Ler in the 56th minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 57th minute, Arturo Lorien hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 58 minutes, Wim Wilmes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Netherlands's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wim Wilmes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match had gone on for 63 minutes, Gustaaf Groeneveldt took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for Bartosz Ziemniak to make any attempt to save it. Bartosz Ziemniak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 66th minute of the match. Arnout Reekers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fernan Ler in the 67th minute of play. Bartosz Ziemniak made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. 82 minutes into the match, Fractal FC's goalkeeper Bartosz Ziemniak had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt. Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fractal FC's Bartosz Ziemniak proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save Fractal FC from getting a goal against them. When the match was over Netherlands could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Fractal FC throughout the match.
