Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Zigmantas Gimbutas started the match with the kick off. Maxime Durand made an important save on a dangerous shot by Quintino Carvalhais in the 3rd minute. Maxime Durand was out of position in the 4 minute of play, and Zigmantas Gimbutas capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Zigmantas Gimbutas really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. In the 8th minute Zigmantas Gimbutas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maxime Durand saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 10th minute, Quintino Carvalhais reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Maxime Durand. The goal made the score 2-0. In the 15th minute of the match SC Braga got a corner. France's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Quintino Carvalhais ran over to the corner to take the kick. After a rather tough play, SC Braga's Charl De Metser got a free kick in the 16th minute. Antonio Adán showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Camille Baume in the 24th minute of the match. France's Maxime Durand played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zigmantas Gimbutas in the 25th minute of play. With a little luck, France's Maxime Durand got control of the ball when Zigmantas Gimbutas tried to sneak it across the goal line. When SC Braga's Zigmantas Gimbutas in the 27th minute got a chance for a shot 27th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye France's goalie prevented a goal. A nice corner shot did that Quintino Carvalhais got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Maxime Durand quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 34th minute, Remy Dupuy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match clock showed 35 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Zigmantas Gimbutas sped through France's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Maxime Durand. Camille Baume blasted a shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Antonio Adán having to make a save. 45 minutes into the match, France's goalkeeper Maxime Durand had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zigmantas Gimbutas. 47 minutes had been played when some careless play by France's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Quintino Carvalhais was slow to take the kick. During this time SC Braga's players had a chance to rest. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zigmantas Gimbutas in the 51st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Maxime Durand saved France from getting behind. In the 54th minute Camille Baume shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antonio Adán saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 55th play minutes Zigmantas Gimbutas shot 5-0, a short shot which went by Maxime Durand and just under the crossbar into goal. Quentin Beaux kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Maxime Durand made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zigmantas Gimbutas in the 63rd minute of play. Zigmantas Gimbutas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Maxime Durand tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. SC Braga made a substitution. Valdomiro Lira replaced Gastão Veiga. Frank Peletier could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Antonio Adán made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Zigmantas Gimbutas managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Braga's supporters rose to their feet, but Zigmantas Gimbutas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Maxime Durand breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 73 minutes into the match, Zigmantas Gimbutas notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of France's Maxime Durand. Maxime Durand was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When SC Braga's Zigmantas Gimbutas in the 79th minute got a chance for a shot 79th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye France's goalie prevented a goal. Quentin Beaux kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by André Jordão in the 87th minute of play forced France's goalkeeper Maxime Durand to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 89th minute Donato Sampaio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maxime Durand saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zigmantas Gimbutas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maxime Durand having to interfere. In the 92nd match minute, SC Braga was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pipis Dilberis to maneuver through the defense. Maxime Durand made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zigmantas Gimbutas in the 94th minute of play.
