Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Gijsbert ter Kruimer started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 5 minutes into the match, Dindarbelidiyespor's goal looked a bit too open when Wim Wilmes came free, but Fredrik Wiman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Gustaaf Groeneveldt came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Netherlands fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gustaaf Groeneveldt couldn't finish the play. In the 11th minute Gustaaf Groeneveldt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fredrik Wiman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gustaaf Groeneveldt might have been able to make a better finish in the 14th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fredrik Wiman. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gustaaf Groeneveldt ran back to his position shaking his head. Fredrik Wiman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 17th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Netherlands defense, Kaj Petersson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Arnout Reekers. The Netherlands fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arnout Reekers should have stopped the shot. In the 25th minute the ball was on its way in behind Dindarbelidiyespor's goalkeeper Fredrik Wiman, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 26 minutes into the game, Kaj Petersson lined in a short shot 2-0 behind a frustrated Arnout Reekers. Gustaaf Groeneveldt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Wim Wilmes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kaj Petersson in the 34th minute of play. Wim Wilmes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fredrik Wiman having to interfere. Wim Wilmes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Netherlands from getting a goal against them. In the 42nd minute Dindarbelidiyespor were awarded a corner. Mårten Hedkvist went to the cornerflag to take it. A collision led to Dindarbelidiyespor getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Peder Hedin hit a great ball. In the 45th minute of the match Gijsbert ter Kruimer shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fredrik Wiman showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

If Gijsbert ter Kruimer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fredrik Wiman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lars Meesters in the 55th minute of play. In the 57th minute, Netherlands's Wim Wilmes ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Fredrik Wiman. Fredrik Wiman yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. Arnout Reekers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kaj Petersson in the 60th minute of the match. The supporters of Netherlands booed when Dindarbelidiyespor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Torbjörn Fribäck didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fredrik Wiman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 64th minute of play. Arnout Reekers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oskar Bergkvist in the 65th minute of play. Dindarbelidiyespor made a substitution. Gottfrid Ekström replaced Kaj Petersson. The supporters of Netherlands booed when Dindarbelidiyespor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Peder Hedin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dindarbelidiyespor's Fredrik Wiman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 76th minute of play. In the 88th minute, Kees Mooiweer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gottfrid Ekström in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arnout Reekers saved Netherlands from getting behind. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Dindarbelidiyespor fans cheered their team off the field, for while Netherlands had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
