Paso FC's Mira Pene played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albino Feliu in the 26th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manuel Morais in the 38th minute of play forced Paso FC's goalkeeper Mira Pene to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With 47 minutes on the clock, Damien Law commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 48 played minutes Paso FC got a freekick which was hit by Damien Law. Mira Pene took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anier Mon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

Mira Pene came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by Mercedes's Alvaro Abar. But to his dismay, Alvaro Abar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. In the 59th minute Albino Feliu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mira Pene saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paso FC made a substitution. Denis Rivas replaced Oktay Eğriöz. Mercedes made a substitution. Anibal Phelipe replaced Melquiades Chinto. 66 minutes into the game, Filiberto Pinto was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mercedes's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Paso FC the free kick. In the 66th match minute, Mercedes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Filiberto Pinto to maneuver through the defense. When Guillermo Ubelteso fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Paso FC's protests and gave Guillermo Ubelteso a yellow card for diving instead. In the 72nd match minute, Paso FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guillermo Ubelteso to maneuver through the defense. Filiberto Pinto made in the 91st minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Anier Mon however managed to control. For all the effort they put into the match, the Paso FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Mercedes.
