The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After some careless play in the Rossanese defense, Antal Valentin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bernardo Fanfarone. The Rossanese fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bernardo Fanfarone should have stopped the shot. In the 20th minute Antal Valentin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernardo Fanfarone saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hungary's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Antal Valentin in the 29th minute. Hungary's Balazs Lajos was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Bernardo Fanfarone in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The supporters of Hungary booed when Rossanese was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wilian Barros didn't get a good kick on the ball. Major Barna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Bernardo Fanfarone tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 36th minute Major Barna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernardo Fanfarone saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bernardo Fanfarone made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antal Valentin in the 39th minute of play. 42 minutes into the match, Hungary's goal looked a bit too open when Allan Björk came free, but Fodor Daniel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rossanese's Bernardo Fanfarone played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Major Barna in the 45th minute of play.

53 minutes into the match, Hungary's Major Barna sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bernardo Fanfarone narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 53rd minute, Major Barna hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind Rossanese's goalkeeper Bernardo Fanfarone, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alfonso Massimi during the 60th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 64 played minutes Rossanese got a freekick which was hit by Wilian Barros. Hungary's Fodor Daniel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Allan Björk in the 71st minute of play. From close distance Antal Valentin pressed in the 0-3 goal high up into nets stiches in the right cross 83 minutes into the game. Major Barna fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernardo Fanfarone having to interfere. If Major Barna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match was over Hungary could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Rossanese throughout the match.
