Denmark's supporters rose to their feet, but Chris Nygaard was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leon Coleiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Denmark's Chris Nygaard in the 8th minute got a chance for a shot 8th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye VALLETTA WHITE STARS's goalie prevented a goal. Sakis Goumas succeeded in the game's 10th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. Keld Paulsen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sakis Goumas in the 13th minute. Alex Marmara kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. In the 20thth minute of the game Chris Nygaard who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but VALLETTA WHITE STARS's Leon Coleiro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the last second Keld Paulsen throw himself and got hold of the ball when Nicholas Quintano in the 27thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. After 35 minutes of play, Denmark's Mikkel Wulff made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Leon Coleiro was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 38thth minute of the game Chris Nygaard who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but VALLETTA WHITE STARS's Leon Coleiro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, VALLETTA WHITE STARS's Alex Marmara got a free kick in the 40th minute. After 41 played minutes VALLETTA WHITE STARS got a freekick which was hit by Sakis Goumas. VALLETTA WHITE STARS's Leon Coleiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chris Nygaard in the 43rd minute of play. In the 44th minute, Lars Steen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nicholas Quintano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

If Nicholas Quintano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Denmark booed when VALLETTA WHITE STARS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dante Van Beersel didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 57 played minutes, Denmark's Chris Nygaard shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Leon Coleiro came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Denmark reached it. After 61 played minutes Denmark got a freekick which was hit by Mathias Ludvigsen. The audience was convinced that Chris Nygaard's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Leon Coleiro was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. Simon Bendtsen hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Keld Paulsen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sakis Goumas, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. A collision led to Denmark getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Simon Bendtsen hit a great ball. When Alex Marmara came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the VALLETTA WHITE STARS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alex Marmara couldn't finish the play. Sakis Goumas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In a very dangerous position, a player in VALLETTA WHITE STARS fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 78th minute. Penalty! The goalkeeper, Leon Coleiro, was totally fooled by Denmark's Chris Nygaard, who 79 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. After a defensive mix-up in VALLETTA WHITE STARS's zone, Chris Nygaard stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leon Coleiro came out of the goal and Chris Nygaard tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 89th minute, Simon Bendtsen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nicholas Quintano's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Keld Paulsen read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. Leon Coleiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chris Nygaard, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. The supporters of Denmark booed when VALLETTA WHITE STARS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Harry Gambin didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Cedric Pace Asciak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
