Hungary's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Amadeo Coleira's late challenge caught a Hungary's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. Antal Valentin received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ramon Goyo came out and tried to block the shot, but Antal Valentin slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 93rd minute. Hungary's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
