Justino Gizon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Czech Republic. When Czech Republic's Erik Jilek in the 27th minute got a chance for a shot 27th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Estudiantes de la Plata's goalie prevented a goal. Vavrinec Holub showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Generoso Terciero, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Vavrinec Holub was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Sylwester Siekierka showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 32 minute of play. Justino Gizon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erik Jilek, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 41 played minutes Estudiantes de la Plata got a freekick which was hit by Melchor Eyague. Czech Republic's Erik Jilek couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Estudiantes de la Plata. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for 邵鹏林 to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the game, Denis Dostal was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Czech Republic's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Estudiantes de la Plata the free kick. Estudiantes de la Plata's supporters rose to their feet, but Generoso Terciero was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Estudiantes de la Plata fully deserved thier win.
