Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Nicolae Ceaușescu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gustaaf Groeneveldt's shot from short distance in the 4th minute. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 6th minute of the game. One of Netherlands:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Master Champion:s goal. Arnout Reekers came out of the goal in the 7th minute to try and stop a shot by Master Champion's Luiz Paulo Meireles. But to his dismay, Luiz Paulo Meireles quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 11thth minute of the game Gijsbert ter Kruimer who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Master Champion's Nicolae Ceaușescu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Gijsbert ter Kruimer got free in front of the goal in the 11th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Nicolae Ceaușescu was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Arnout Reekers made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Matei Corona sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, Netherlands's Arnout Reekers got control of the ball when Matei Corona tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Master Champion's Tobiasz Rostow in the 23rd minute got a chance for a shot 23rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Netherlands's goalie prevented a goal. Master Champion were awarded a corner in the 25th minute after Netherlands's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Perivaldo Aparecido took the corner. Master Champion's Nicolae Ceaușescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 26th minute of play. Arnout Reekers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tobiasz Rostow, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. 38 minutes into the match, Master Champion's goal looked a bit too open when Gustaaf Groeneveldt came free, but Nicolae Ceaușescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Gustaaf Groeneveldt came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Netherlands fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gustaaf Groeneveldt couldn't finish the play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Nicolae Ceaușescu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 55th minute. In the 58th minute, Gijsbert ter Kruimer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gustaaf Groeneveldt kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. A sloppy throw-in by Kees Mooiweer in the 62nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Master Champion's Artur Vander. A collision led to Netherlands getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Gijsbert ter Kruimer hit a great ball. In the 64th minute, Sílvio Ferraz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Master Champion's Iqbal Faturrahman got a free kick in the 65th minute. Arnout Reekers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tobiasz Rostow in the 68th minute of the match. Nicolae Ceaușescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wim Wilmes in the 71st minute of play. In the 73rd minute, Tobiasz Rostow left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Master Champion fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. The supporters of Netherlands booed when Master Champion was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lev Shershun didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Master Champion's zone, Gijsbert ter Kruimer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nicolae Ceaușescu came out of the goal and Gijsbert ter Kruimer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Aarne Mikkola's late challenge caught a Netherlands's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aarne Mikkola helped the player get up and apologised. Nicolae Ceaușescu made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Lars Meesters sent off a good shot on target. When the match had gone on for 84 minutes, Lars Meesters took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Nicolae Ceaușescu to make any attempt to save it. In the 87th minute, Artur Vander hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nicolae Ceaușescu made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Wim Wilmes sent off a good shot on target. The Master Champion support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
