Czech Republic's Vavrinec Holub played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedro Travassos in the 9th minute of play. After some careless play in the Czech Republic defense, Rui Bento kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vavrinec Holub. The Czech Republic fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vavrinec Holub should have stopped the shot. In the 13th match minute, Czech Republic was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bohumir Kohout to maneuver through the defense. 3-0 became the score in the 14th minute when Marcos Damásio elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. A collision led to Czech Republic getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Kvetoslav Janku hit a great ball. Erik Jilek fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacinto Vaz having to interfere. Denis Dostal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 37th minute, Rui Bento left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ken United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. If Pedro Travassos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pedro Travassos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vavrinec Holub read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play. Czech Republic's Kvetoslav Janku got his second yellow card of the match in the 47th minute. The referee ordered Kvetoslav Janku off the ground. Kvetoslav Janku kicked well hit freekick during the 48th minute of the match. Vavrinec Holub was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 49th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Pedro Travassos. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-0.

In the 53rd minute Marcos Damásio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vavrinec Holub saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Marcos Damásio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vavrinec Holub was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. In the 66th minute, Bohumir Kohout hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pedro Travassos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 70th minute, Marcos Damásio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ken United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. In the 73rd minute of the match Pedro Travassos shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Vavrinec Holub showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Erik Jilek hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Pedro Travassos took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 75th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Vavrinec Holub. Czech Republic's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Jacinto Vaz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Denis Dostal in the 76th minute. 87 minutes into the match, Czech Republic's goal looked a bit too open when Marcos Damásio came free, but Vavrinec Holub reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ken United walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
