An unexpectedly hard shot by Wim Wilmes in the 12th minute of play forced ≮china≯王者's goalkeeper 肖升昂 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 肖升昂 came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by Netherlands's Wim Wilmes. But to his dismay, Wim Wilmes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Gustaaf Groeneveldt managed to get in a good position for a shot. Netherlands's supporters rose to their feet, but Gustaaf Groeneveldt was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. 肖升昂 breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Gustaaf Groeneveldt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 24th match minute, ≮china≯王者 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Disvandis Faesch to maneuver through the defense. Arnout Reekers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kent Kaxe, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. In the 39th minute Gustaaf Groeneveldt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 肖升昂 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 43rd minute, Disvandis Faesch hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Lars Meesters came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Netherlands fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lars Meesters couldn't finish the play. Gustaaf Groeneveldt struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. 肖升昂 didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Netherlands. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 48th minute of the match, managed to save Netherlands from getting a goal against them. The ≮china≯王者 players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Netherlands were winning 1-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gijsbert ter Kruimer was the one to do the kick off. Waclaw Olchowy kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kent Kaxe in the 55th minute of play. Wim Wilmes might have been able to make a better finish in the 59th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over 肖升昂. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Wim Wilmes ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gustaaf Groeneveldt got free with 肖升昂 in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Waclaw Olchowy in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arnout Reekers saved Netherlands from getting behind. After having played for 69 minutes, Gustaaf Groeneveldt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The supporters of Netherlands booed when ≮china≯王者 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. 张震朋 didn't get a good kick on the ball. 肖升昂 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wim Wilmes in the 90th minute of play. Netherlands's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
