Avgustin Lúskov's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 13thth minute, Fodor Daniel skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Balazs Lajos in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dimitar Vetzov prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Dimitar Vetzov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antal Valentin in the 18th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bratan Rogev got free with Fodor Daniel in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in FC Bansko's zone, Antal Valentin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dimitar Vetzov came out of the goal and Antal Valentin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 31st minute FC Bansko were awarded a corner. Ivan Toromanov went to the cornerflag to take it. After having played for 33 minutes, Avgustin Lúskov managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Bansko's supporters crossed their fingers, but Avgustin Lúskov was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antal Valentin in the 35th minute of play forced FC Bansko's goalkeeper Dimitar Vetzov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 39 minutes, Bratan Rogev managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Bansko's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bratan Rogev was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 45th minute, Ivan Toromanov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Antal Valentin to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes in the game, Major Barna fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Dimitar Vetzov having to interfere. FC Bansko's Toma Matkov got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dimitar Vetzov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Major Barna in the 59th minute of play. In the 61st minute, one of FC Bansko:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for FC Bansko. FC Bansko's Albert Momkov was substituted for Slavcho Peychinov. Fodor Daniel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nedelcho Gutzov's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. Dimitar Vetzov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Takacs Tibor in the 75th minute of play. Fodor Daniel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Toma Matkov in the 77th minute of play. 80 minutes into the match, FC Bansko's goal looked a bit too open when Takacs Tibor came free, but Dimitar Vetzov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. FC Bansko's Gencho Mangezov was substituted for Ivan Toromanov. FC Bansko's Kuncho Glavchev was substituted for Avgustin Lúskov. The corner led Hungary's Hegedus Henrik to fire away a dangerous shot which Dimitar Vetzov despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Fodor Daniel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nedelcho Gutzov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. FC Bansko were awarded a corner in the 88th minute after Hungary's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Hristiyan Karaleev took the corner. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Hungary's goalie and right to Bratan Rogev. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Hungary's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. 94 minutes into the match, Hungary's goal looked a bit too open when Nedelcho Gutzov came free, but Fodor Daniel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fodor Daniel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Toma Matkov in the 97th minute of play.
