Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Elis Färber made the kick off and thus started the match. Antal Valentin took the ball and in the 5 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Wolf Poll. Wolf Poll dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 8 minutes into the match, Ulrich Pickartz notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Hungary's Fodor Daniel. Fodor Daniel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Balazs Lajos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Antal Valentin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wolf Poll made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Balazs Lajos in the 23rd minute of play. In the 24th minute Hungary were awarded a corner. Antal Valentin went to the cornerflag to take it. Major Barna's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Wolf Poll read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Tiger's Jörgen Stossun got a free kick in the 30th minute. Wolf Poll showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antal Valentin, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. After 34 minutes of play, Hungary's Hegedus Henrik made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Wolf Poll was left in no man's land by his defense there! Fox Joseph received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Fodor Daniel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 38 minutes into the game, Wolfgang Schürhoff was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tiger's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hungary the free kick. In the 43rd match minute, Hungary was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Major Barna to maneuver through the defense. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

In the 53rd minute, Antal Valentin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Balazs Lajos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 57th minute Hegedus Henrik shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wolf Poll saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 61 minutes into the game, Arvid Wacker was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tiger's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hungary the free kick. In the 61st minute, Arvid Wacker hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tiger made a substitution. Rolf Matzken replaced Axel Schäuble. Wolf Poll made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Major Barna in the 67th minute of play. Wolf Poll was a little too slow when Major Barna got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 71st minute. The score was now 1-4. Tiger made a substitution. Joseph Sittarz replaced Albrecht Kowalke. Wolf Poll made an important save on a dangerous shot by Major Barna in the 76th minute. Tiger's Wolf Poll proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save Tiger from getting a goal against them. Antal Valentin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tiger's Wolf Poll played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Takacs Tibor in the 88th minute of play. 93 minutes in the game, Antal Valentin fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Wolf Poll having to interfere. When Antal Valentin came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Hungary fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Antal Valentin couldn't finish the play. Hungary's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
