Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Gijsbert ter Kruimer took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 4th minute, Wim Wilmes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benne Benneborg was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. A throw-in in the 7th minute of the game was made by Kees Mooiweer with Lars Meesters as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. After a rather tough play, Northland Vikings's Mel Speerschneider got a free kick in the 7th minute. Benne Benneborg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wim Wilmes in the 15th minute of play. In the 16thth minute of the game Ture Waller who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Netherlands's Arnout Reekers was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ture Waller in the 18th minute of play. 18 minutes into the game, Northland Vikings's Ture Waller nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Arnout Reekers made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. After 26 played minutes Northland Vikings got a freekick which was hit by Silverio Padro. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ture Waller in the 36th minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 41 minutes into the match, Ture Waller dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Arnout Reekers, 4-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ture Lundgren got free with Arnout Reekers in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ture Waller to make the kick off. Bas Tuitert hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ture Waller in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arnout Reekers saved Netherlands from getting behind. 67 minutes into the match, Northland Vikings's goal looked a bit too open when Wim Wilmes came free, but Benne Benneborg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 70 played minutes Netherlands got a freekick which was hit by Kees Mooiweer. Northland Vikings made a substitution. Bebur Topnikov replaced Jorge Azenha. Kees Mooiweer kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. In the 72nd minute, Gao Peng Ran ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Arnout Reekers was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. Arnout Reekers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ture Lundgren in the 76th minute of the match. Arnout Reekers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gao Peng Ran, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Gustaaf Groeneveldt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benne Benneborg having to interfere. In the 93rd minute Gao Peng Ran shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 95th minute of the match, Lars Meesters tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Benne Benneborg saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Arnout Reekers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gao Peng Ran, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. Netherlands's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Northland Vikings had won, even though Netherlands had held more of the ball.
