In the 6th minute Viriato Moura shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arcadio Buendia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leon Goretzka got free with Wilson Amorim in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Alzaga FC's Arcadio Buendia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabricio Andrade in the 21st minute of play. Portugal were awarded a corner in the 22th minute after Alzaga FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Felipe Barreto took the corner. Bernardo Franco kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. 31 minutes into the match, Portugal's goal looked a bit too open when Leon Goretzka came free, but Wilson Amorim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Portugal booed when Alzaga FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stanko Stankovich didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arcadio Buendia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Viriato Moura, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Arcadio Buendia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Caetano Moreira in the 41st minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Leon Goretzka to strike the kick off in the second half. Wilson Amorim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leon Goretzka in the 58th minute of the match. Daniel Pimentel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Alzaga FC made a substitution. Pablo Ur replaced Adrián Czornomaz. Alzaga FC's Robert Rutkowski was substituted for Leon Goretzka. Felipe Barreto's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Arcadio Buendia firmly grabbed it by the left post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Robert Rutkowski in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Wilson Amorim saved Portugal from getting behind. Portugal's Bartolomeu Dias was substituted for Viriato Moura. Portugal made a substitution. Felipinho Amorim replaced Felipe Barreto. In the 73rd minute of the match Alzaga FC got a corner. Portugal's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Pan Lang Bin ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 77th minute of the match, Felipinho Amorim got a very nice opportunity to score, but Arcadio Buendia was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The crowd rose to their feet as Felipinho Amorim kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Arcadio Buendia. That made the score 1-1 in the 84 minute of play. Portugal's Wilson Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robert Rutkowski in the 88th minute of play. After some careless play in the Alzaga FC defense, Felipinho Amorim kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Arcadio Buendia. The Alzaga FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arcadio Buendia should have stopped the shot. In the 95th minute, Jiang Shi Shi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
