The crowd rose to their feet as Couto Mixto F.C.'s Wei De Ling slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Arnout Reekers. That made the score 1-0 after 14 minutes of play. Wim Wilmes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Christopher Langford showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 22nd minute of the match. Gustaaf Groeneveldt took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Christopher Langford. Christopher Langford dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. In the 27th minute, Basilio Alabern hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Wim Wilmes took the ball and in the 29 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Christopher Langford. Christopher Langford dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Arnout Reekers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arthur Blain, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Wim Wilmes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eneko Quesada got free with Arnout Reekers in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 45th minute, Gustaaf Groeneveldt made a precise shot to the right of Christopher Langford. Couto Mixto F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Wei De Ling was the one to do the kick off. Gustaaf Groeneveldt kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eneko Quesada in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arnout Reekers saved Netherlands from getting behind. David Eikelkamp hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. 60 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when Eneko Quesada came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eneko Quesada in the 63rd minute of play. Christopher Langford made an important save on a dangerous shot by Wim Wilmes in the 68th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Honorato Feria during the 71st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Honorato Feria kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Couto Mixto F.C.'s Natalio Telo was substituted for José Augusto Hoffmann. After 81 minutes Couto Mixto F.C.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gijsbert ter Kruimer who took care of the corner kick. Lars Meesters was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post.
