The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 2 played minutes Club Atlético Huracán got a freekick which was hit by Halil İbrahim Yağıztekin. Maxime Durand didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tomás Cordarin went, in the 4th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Maxime Durand stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tomás Cordarin's shot from short distance in the 9th minute. After 12 played minutes Club Atlético Huracán got a freekick which was hit by Kacper Lampa. An unexpectedly hard shot by David Barbier in the 13th minute of play forced Club Atlético Huracán's goalkeeper Jimeno Gonsalve to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tomás Cordarin got free with Maxime Durand in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match had gone on for 31 minutes, Tomás Cordarin took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Maxime Durand to make any attempt to save it. After some careless play in the France defense, Tomás Cordarin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Maxime Durand. The France fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Maxime Durand should have stopped the shot. Jimeno Gonsalve showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frank Peletier in the 42nd minute of the match. In the 43rd minute, Tomás Cordarin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. France's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Casimiro Cuartio 45 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 4-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tomás Cordarin to make the kick off. Tomás Cordarin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Frank Peletier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. France's Maxime Durand played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomás Cordarin in the 57th minute of play. Club Atlético Huracán's Jimeno Gonsalve proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save Club Atlético Huracán from getting a goal against them. Jimeno Gonsalve made an important save on a dangerous shot by Camille Baume in the 60th minute. In the 61st minute, Fermin Sabino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jimeno Gonsalve made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David Barbier in the 62nd minute of play. Tomás Cordarin scored 5-0 in the 66th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Maxime Durand, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 69th match minute, Club Atlético Huracán was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Miromir Barciniak to maneuver through the defense. Robert Chapuis made a great header on France's corner, it was just that Club Atlético Huracán's Jimeno Gonsalve managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 72ndth minute of the game Camille Baume who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Club Atlético Huracán's Jimeno Gonsalve was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jimeno Gonsalve didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Robert Chapuis went, in the 73rd minute, to the upper right corner, 5-1 was the resulting score. The supporters of France booed when Club Atlético Huracán was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Miromir Barciniak didn't get a good kick on the ball. 78 minutes into the match, Tomás Cordarin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Maxime Durand. France's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tomás Cordarin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-1. Maxime Durand showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomás Cordarin in the 83rd minute of the match. If Tomás Cordarin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The Club Atlético Huracán fans cheered their team off the field, for while France had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
