Patryk Dubilas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilson Amorim having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Patryk Dubilas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Wilson Amorim was relentless in the 7th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by José Carneiro in the 10th minute of play forced Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Ema City's Diego Soñora got a free kick in the 15th minute. After 16 played minutes, Portugal's Felipe Barreto shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Bartosz Trzenzalski came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Portugal reached it. After 18 minutes of play, Ema City's José Carneiro made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Wilson Amorim was left in no man's land by his defense there! Portugal's Wilson Amorim proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Portugal from getting a goal against them. Felipe Barreto might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bartosz Trzenzalski. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Felipe Barreto ran back to his position shaking his head. Bartosz Trzenzalski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felipe Barreto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Felipe Barreto in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bartosz Trzenzalski saved Ema City from getting behind. Bartosz Trzenzalski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Caetano Moreira in the 42nd minute of the match. In the 44th minute Cezary Nalaskowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilson Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Viriato Moura stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ema City's Bartosz Trzenzalski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Ema City from getting a goal against them. In the 54th minute Portugal were awarded a corner. Felipe Barreto went to the cornerflag to take it. Portugal's Felipe Barreto was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Bartosz Trzenzalski in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 56 minutes into the match, Ema City's goal looked a bit too open when Viriato Moura came free, but Bartosz Trzenzalski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 57th minute of the match, Felipe Barreto got a very nice opportunity to score, but Bartosz Trzenzalski was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Felipe Barreto received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Bartosz Trzenzalski came out and tried to block the shot, but Felipe Barreto slotted it home off the left post making it 2-2 in the 63rd minute. Portugal made a substitution. Bartolomeu Dias replaced Viriato Moura. Portugal's attentive Daniel Pimentel managed to snatch the ball when Andre Buncol made a throw-in in the 73rd minute of the game. In the 75th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ema City's goalkeeper Bartosz Trzenzalski, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Felipinho Amorim kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Bartosz Trzenzalski. That made the score 2-3 in the 75 minute of play. In the 80th minute José Carneiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilson Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. José Carneiro scored 3-3 in the 81st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Wilson Amorim, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 83 minutes, Selçuk Özgebay mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ema City and the Portugal players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Portugal booed when Ema City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Selçuk Özgebay didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bartolomeu Dias in the 85th minute of play forced Ema City's goalkeeper Bartosz Trzenzalski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Patryk Dubilas took the ball and in the 86 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Wilson Amorim. Wilson Amorim dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-3. When Marek Mockiewicz came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Ema City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marek Mockiewicz couldn't finish the play. José Carneiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Wilson Amorim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Wilson Amorim didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from José Carneiro went, in the 95th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-3 was the resulting score. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Ema City fans cheered their team off the field, for while Portugal had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
