Tommy Kahn made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Tommy Kahn was out of position in the 9 minute of play, and Valdir Viana capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Valdir Viana really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Frank Sachs might have been able to make a better finish in the 14th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Franciszek Kosiorek. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Frank Sachs ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 15th minute Albin Holweck shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Franciszek Kosiorek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 18th minute, Frank Sachs got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Evandro Tróia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Albin Holweck received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Franciszek Kosiorek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Evandro Tróia was the one to do the kick off. Tommy Kahn came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by FC Oberschlesien's Leszek Niedziela. But to his dismay, Leszek Niedziela quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Germany's Tommy Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Waclaw Radziszewski in the 60th minute of play. FC Oberschlesien's Franciszek Kosiorek proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save FC Oberschlesien from getting a goal against them. Franciszek Kosiorek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albin Holweck in the 69th minute of play. Franciszek Kosiorek made an important save on a dangerous shot by Frank Sachs in the 72nd minute. Tommy Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Waclaw Radziszewski in the 77th minute of the match. FC Oberschlesien's supporters crossed their fingers, but Waclaw Radziszewski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to FC Oberschlesien getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Michal Kanczuszewski hit a great ball. In the 94th minute, Grigore Urducea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 95 played minutes FC Oberschlesien got a freekick which was hit by Grigore Urducea. FC Oberschlesien's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
