In the 7th minute the ball was on its way in behind Carrapichel - FDFDF's goalkeeper Edson Bertassi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 12th minute Albin Holweck shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edson Bertassi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Germany's Tommy Kahn proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Germany from getting a goal against them. Frank Sachs charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Frank Sachs the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Germany's Frank Sachs got a free kick in the 14th minute. 15 minutes into the game, Carrapichel - FDFDF's Acácio Neto nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tommy Kahn made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Edson Bertassi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frank Sachs in the 22nd minute of play. After 26 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Albin Holweck. Tommy Kahn was a little too slow when Acácio Neto got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 30th minute. The score was now 2-0. With an all-out effort, Carrapichel - FDFDF's Tommy Kahn threw himself towards the right post 36 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Rogério Alcântara, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After a defensive mix-up in Germany's zone, David Fernandes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tommy Kahn came out of the goal and David Fernandes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Beto Cavalcante didn't get a good kick on the ball. 45 minutes into the game, Frank Sachs cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Edson Bertassi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Tommy Kahn came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Carrapichel - FDFDF's Acácio Neto. But to his dismay, Acácio Neto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. In the 54th minute, Adrian Dreifuss hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Edson Bertassi made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Frank Sachs sent off a good shot on target. Carrapichel - FDFDF's Oséias de Brito was substituted for Abel de Barros. 78 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Oséias de Brito came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 86th minute, Oséias de Brito got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 92nd minute, Beto Cavalcante hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 95 minutes into the game, Albin Holweck was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Germany's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Carrapichel - FDFDF the free kick. After 95 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Albin Holweck. Carrapichel - FDFDF were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Germany for a fine match.
