Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Gijsbert ter Kruimer kicked off to start the match. Dario Wilhelm made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 4th minute of play. After taking down the ball on Netherlands's corner Gijsbert ter Kruimer fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Dario Wilhelm quite easily take care of the ball. After 6 minutes, Dexter Benton mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cascade Park West and the Netherlands players grew even worse after the yellow card. Dexter Benton hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Cascade Park West's zone, Gijsbert ter Kruimer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dario Wilhelm came out of the goal and Gijsbert ter Kruimer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 18th minute of the game. One of Cascade Park West:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Netherlands:s goal. Wim Wilmes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Dario Wilhelm tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gustaaf Groeneveldt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dario Wilhelm made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 30th minute of play. The throw-in from Waldo Renteria in the 31st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Netherlands's Gustaaf Groeneveldt. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 32nd minute of play forced Cascade Park West's goalkeeper Dario Wilhelm to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Netherlands were awarded a corner in the 33th minute after Cascade Park West's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gijsbert ter Kruimer took the corner. Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Dario Wilhelm in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 35th minute Gustaaf Groeneveldt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dario Wilhelm saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 37th minute, Rolland Hobbs hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Allen Dalton kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Cascade Park West's Amir Lee got a free kick in the 39th minute. Gijsbert ter Kruimer took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 40th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Dario Wilhelm. Cascade Park West's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Cascade Park West's Dario Wilhelm played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 41st minute of play. Rolland Hobbs could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Arnout Reekers made a huge save.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Amir Lee to make the kick off. Arnout Reekers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amir Lee, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Waldo Renteria hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Dario Wilhelm made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lars Meesters in the 58th minute of play. In the 61st minute Amir Lee shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cascade Park West were awarded a corner in the 64th minute after Netherlands's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Dexter Benton took the corner. In the 65th minute of the match Cascade Park West got a corner. Netherlands's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Dexter Benton ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Cascade Park West's Dexter Benton to fire away a dangerous shot which Arnout Reekers despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Arnout Reekers came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by Cascade Park West's Claude Joyner. But to his dismay, Claude Joyner quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 73rd minute of the match, Gustaaf Groeneveldt got a very nice opportunity to score, but Dario Wilhelm was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Netherlands were awarded a corner in the 74th minute after Cascade Park West's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gijsbert ter Kruimer took the corner. In the 76th minute of the match, Gijsbert ter Kruimer tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Dario Wilhelm saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The supporters of Netherlands booed when Cascade Park West was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rolland Hobbs didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dario Wilhelm showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. A collision led to Cascade Park West getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Rolland Hobbs hit a great ball. Cascade Park West's Dario Wilhelm played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lars Meesters in the 85th minute of play. After having played for 94 minutes, Gustaaf Groeneveldt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Netherlands's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gustaaf Groeneveldt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Despite being the better team, Netherlands failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
