Balázs Sebes took the ball and in the 11 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tommy Kahn. Tommy Kahn dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Balázs Sebes was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 14th minute. Hoberg United's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Dida Martins stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Frank Sachs's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frank Sachs in the 21st minute of play forced Hoberg United's goalkeeper Dida Martins to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Frank Sachs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Dida Martins showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frank Sachs, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Germany's Tommy Kahn proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Germany from getting a goal against them. In the 32nd minute, Frank Sachs left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Germany fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. Balázs Sebes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tommy Kahn having to interfere. If Balázs Sebes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

Tommy Kahn was left in no man's land by his defense there! Hoberg United's Louis Bullock was substituted for Maximiliano Rutenio.
