The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Trinchera FC's Herminio Roderigo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felix Kirschbaum in the 3rd minute of play. Eloy Dimas who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 6thth minute tested the skills of Wang Yi Zhen when he managed to save the team from getting behind. With a little luck, Club Deportivo Español's Wang Yi Zhen got control of the ball when Eloy Dimas tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 19 played minutes Club Deportivo Español got a freekick which was hit by Ignacio Lon. Sebastian Celio, 19 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 21st minute, Eloy Dimas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 25 minutes, Felix Kirschbaum managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Deportivo Español's supporters crossed their fingers, but Felix Kirschbaum was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Eloy Dimas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Generoso Frances got free with Wang Yi Zhen in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 32 minutes into the match, Club Deportivo Español's goal looked a bit too open when Eloy Dimas came free, but Wang Yi Zhen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Trinchera FC getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Saturnino Ekhi hit a great ball. After 34 played minutes, Club Deportivo Español's Diego Soñora shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Herminio Roderigo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Club Deportivo Español reached it. 37 minutes into the match, Club Deportivo Español's goal looked a bit too open when Eloy Dimas came free, but Wang Yi Zhen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 38 minutes into the match, Club Deportivo Español's goalkeeper Wang Yi Zhen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eloy Dimas. After a defensive mix-up in Trinchera FC's zone, Felix Kirschbaum stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Herminio Roderigo came out of the goal and Felix Kirschbaum tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Trinchera FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Club Deportivo Español were winning 0-1.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eloy Dimas to make the kick off. 55 minutes into the match, Club Deportivo Español's goal looked a bit too open when Roque Pero came free, but Wang Yi Zhen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Eloy Dimas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Wang Yi Zhen was relentless in the 57th minute of the game. After 59 minutes Club Deportivo Español's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Sebastian Celio who took care of the corner kick. Trinchera FC's Sebastian Celio was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Wang Yi Zhen in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 81st minute Generoso Frances shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wang Yi Zhen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robustiano Beltxe in the 90th minute of play forced Trinchera FC's goalkeeper Herminio Roderigo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Club Deportivo Español's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Diego Soñora in the 92nd minute.
