FC La Masia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Herminio Roderigo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristiano Xavier in the 9th minute of play. Herminio Roderigo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristiano Xavier in the 9th minute of the match. Herminio Roderigo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alexsandro Correia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Trinchera FC's Generoso Frances quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Lúcio da Rochas short, quick shot in the 17thth minute got Herminio Roderigo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. If Lúcio da Rocha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 26th minute, Cristiano Xavier left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC La Masia fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Cesinha do Vale showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roque Pero in the 29th minute of the match. Alexsandro Correia's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Herminio Roderigo firmly grabbed it by the left post. Lino Illart sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 40th match minute, Trinchera FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Siro Cedro to maneuver through the defense. 41 minutes into the match, Trinchera FC's goalkeeper Herminio Roderigo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Murillo Galvão. Trinchera FC's Herminio Roderigo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Trinchera FC from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, FC La Masia's Tony Quadros got a free kick in the 45th minute.

A collision led to Trinchera FC getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Generoso Frances hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lúcio da Rocha in the 54th minute of play forced Trinchera FC's goalkeeper Herminio Roderigo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Herminio Roderigo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lúcio da Rocha in the 55th minute of the match. Perivaldo Valle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Herminio Roderigo having to interfere. When Eloy Dimas came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Trinchera FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eloy Dimas couldn't finish the play. After some careless play in the Trinchera FC defense, Cristiano Xavier kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Herminio Roderigo. The Trinchera FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Herminio Roderigo should have stopped the shot. In the 80th minute Cristiano Xavier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Herminio Roderigo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Lúcio da Rocha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lúcio da Rocha kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. The supporters of FC La Masia booed when Trinchera FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roque Pero didn't get a good kick on the ball. 92 minutes into the match, Lúcio da Rocha notched a goal, 3-3, to the right of Trinchera FC's Herminio Roderigo. Herminio Roderigo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. FC La Masia were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Trinchera FC for a fine match.
