In the 14th minute of the match, Humphry Chant tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Fernando Alonso saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Bengt-Åke Kvist could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Fernando Alonso made a huge save. Selim Tuğbay made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucjan Dziewulski in the 19th minute of play. Franciszek Wojno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Knaggel FC's Humphry Chant in the 48th minute got a chance for a shot 48th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bengt-Åke Kvist stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Franciszek Wojno scored 0-2 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Selim Tuğbay, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bengt-Åke Kvist in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fernando Alonso saved Fen Revas from getting behind. The supporters of Knaggel FC booed when Fen Revas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kayacan Bintuğ didn't get a good kick on the ball. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 75 minutes into the match, Fen Revas's Franciszek Wojno sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Selim Tuğbay narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Frédson Freddie got free with Selim Tuğbay in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bengt-Åke Kvist in the 80th minute of play forced Fen Revas's goalkeeper Fernando Alonso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 89 minutes, Selim Tuğbay successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 91 minutes into the game, Peter Sawbridge was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Knaggel FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fen Revas the free kick. 92 minutes into the match, Knaggel FC's goalkeeper Selim Tuğbay had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Frédson Freddie. Selim Tuğbay made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucjan Dziewulski in the 93rd minute of play. Frédson Freddie spun around in front of the goal 96 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Knaggel FC's goal. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Fen Revas eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
