With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wang Yi Zhen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 9 minutes Club Deportivo Español's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Hulk Orange who took care of the corner kick. Hulk Orange made a great header on FORMIGÃO DE BRAGA's corner, it was just that Club Deportivo Español's Wang Yi Zhen managed to reach the ball for a save. Jardel Meireles could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Wang Yi Zhen made a huge save. After 19 played minutes Club Deportivo Español got a freekick which was hit by Ignacio Lon. Wang Yi Zhen came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by FORMIGÃO DE BRAGA's Jardel Meireles. But to his dismay, Jardel Meireles quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Diego Di Toma fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wang Yi Zhen having to interfere. Jardel Meireles who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 32ndth minute tested the skills of Wang Yi Zhen when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 34th minute, Halvor Aaskov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. José Maria Cunha's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 36thth minute, Wang Yi Zhen skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 39 minutes into the match, Club Deportivo Español's goal looked a bit too open when Jardel Meireles came free, but Wang Yi Zhen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 41 minutes into the match, Club Deportivo Español's goalkeeper Wang Yi Zhen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jardel Meireles. Mazinho Barreto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Felix Kirschbaum's shot from short distance in the 45th minute. Diego Di Toma was extremely unlucky when he, in the 47th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. FORMIGÃO DE BRAGA made a substitution. Manoel Mandrak replaced Diego Di Toma.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Felix Kirschbaum stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Wang Yi Zhen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jardel Meireles, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 57th minute, Hulk Orange hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 58 minutes, Robustiano Beltxe managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Deportivo Español's supporters crossed their fingers, but Robustiano Beltxe was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Manoel Mandrak received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Wang Yi Zhen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 62nd minute Manoel Mandrak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wang Yi Zhen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 64th match minute, Club Deportivo Español was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Halvor Aaskov to maneuver through the defense. Manoel Mandrak ran back to his position shaking his head. 68 minutes into the game, FORMIGÃO DE BRAGA's Jardel Meireles nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Wang Yi Zhen made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. In the 72nd minute Jardel Meireles shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wang Yi Zhen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wang Yi Zhen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from José Maria Cunha, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. FORMIGÃO DE BRAGA's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Hulk Orange in the 74th minute. The corner ended in Hulk Orange almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Club Deportivo Español's Wang Yi Zhen did a great save. 80 minutes into the match, Club Deportivo Español's goal looked a bit too open when Jardel Meireles came free, but Wang Yi Zhen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 89th minute Jardel Meireles shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wang Yi Zhen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Manoel Mandrak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Felix Kirschbaum got free with Mazinho Barreto in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the referee ended the match the FORMIGÃO DE BRAGA players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
