The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Anier Pedroso hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Alfonso Lauro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adolfo Gombal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Amancio Cheche blasted a shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alfonso Lauro having to make a save. In the 91st minute Higinio Cresencio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Feliberto Ipar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. There was no doubt that Lobos de Carelia were the better team. Lobos de Carelia's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
