An unexpectedly hard shot by Cacey Sharp in the 15th minute of play forced Lobos de Carelia's goalkeeper Feliberto Ipar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lobos de Carelia were furious when Virgílio Sá was red carded, 20 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In a very dangerous position, a player in Lobos de Carelia fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 20th minute. Penalty! Feliberto Ipar didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cacey Sharp went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Zeca Fernandez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Tom Wall made a huge save. When the match clock showed 27 minutes, the score became 0-4 when Cacey Sharp sped through Lobos de Carelia's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Feliberto Ipar. 32 minutes into the game, Cacey Sharp cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Feliberto Ipar was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Cacey Sharp managed to get in a good position for a shot. Zero Hedge's supporters rose to their feet, but Cacey Sharp was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Feliberto Ipar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 36th minute, Mürsel Oruz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cacey Sharp might have been able to make a better finish in the 38th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Feliberto Ipar. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cacey Sharp ran back to his position shaking his head. Lobos de Carelia's Feliberto Ipar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cacey Sharp in the 38th minute of play. 41 minutes into the match, Zero Hedge's Cacey Sharp sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Feliberto Ipar narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Zeca Fernandez stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute the ball was on its way in behind Lobos de Carelia's goalkeeper Feliberto Ipar, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 52 minutes Lobos de Carelia's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Best Ibland who took care of the corner kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Lobos de Carelia's goalie and right to Bengt Holm. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Lobos de Carelia's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. In the 53rd of the match, Bengt Holm tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Feliberto Ipar got in the way and made a wonderful save. Cacey Sharp might have been able to make a better finish in the 55th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Feliberto Ipar. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cacey Sharp ran back to his position shaking his head. Zero Hedge's Cecilio Fanuco was substituted for Cacey Sharp. After having played for 61 minutes, Cecilio Fanuco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Zero Hedge's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cecilio Fanuco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Prospero Perico had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 70 minutes into the match, Lobos de Carelia's goal looked a bit too open when Cecilio Fanuco came free, but Feliberto Ipar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 81stth minute of the game Cecilio Fanuco who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lobos de Carelia's Feliberto Ipar was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Feliberto Ipar was out of position in the 82 minute of play, and Cecilio Fanuco capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Cecilio Fanuco really showed his touch with that goal: 0-8. In the 96th minute, Prospero Inguma ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tom Wall was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-8. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Zero Hedge walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
