Hugo Orlando Gatti showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Henry Fagerberg in the 4th minute of the match. Magne Gunnarsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bolo Bolaño, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. 9 minutes into the match, Consejo del Mate's goalkeeper Hugo Orlando Gatti had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Per Tunström. After 11 minutes of play, Consejo del Mate's Bolo Bolaño made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Magne Gunnarsson was left in no man's land by his defense there! 27 minutes into the match, Consejo del Mate's goal looked a bit too open when Per Tunström came free, but Hugo Orlando Gatti reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Magne Gunnarsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bolo Bolaño, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 29 minutes, Per Tunström managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rönnöfors FF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Per Tunström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Consejo del Mate's Vicente Santana got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 41 minutes into the game, Sten Hökqvist was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rönnöfors FF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Consejo del Mate the free kick. Sten Hökqvist hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Consejo del Mate's Peyo Fonelleda was substituted for Vicente Santana. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Per Tunström made a kick off. A collision led to Consejo del Mate getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Fagildo Pamanes hit a great ball. Peyo Fonelleda could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Magne Gunnarsson made a huge save. 59 minutes into the game, Rönnöfors FF's Per Tunström nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hugo Orlando Gatti made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. After a defensive mix-up in Rönnöfors FF's zone, Fagildo Pamanes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Magne Gunnarsson came out of the goal and Fagildo Pamanes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 73rd minute, Consejo del Mate's Peyo Fonelleda ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Magne Gunnarsson. Magne Gunnarsson yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-2. In the 77th minute, Per Stenberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Magne Gunnarsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fagildo Pamanes in the 79th minute of play. 81 minutes into the game, Edwin Ahlstedt was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rönnöfors FF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Consejo del Mate the free kick. Magne Gunnarsson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fagildo Pamanes in the 83rd minute. In the 84th minute, Per Tunström got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Through an outstanding action, after 88 minutes, Magne Gunnarsson successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 90th minute of the match Rönnöfors FF got a corner. Consejo del Mate's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Per Stenberg ran over to the corner to take the kick. The supporters of Rönnöfors FF booed when Consejo del Mate was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aquiles Cordero didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 95th minute, Per Stenberg sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Consejo del Mate's Hugo Orlando Gatti didn't even have to move. 97 minutes into the match, Per Tunström notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of Consejo del Mate's Hugo Orlando Gatti. Hugo Orlando Gatti was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
