With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hugo Orlando Gatti prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 29 minutes Consejo del Mate's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Esteve Quintan who took care of the corner kick. If Alfonso Jacindo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Aquiles Cordero thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Hugo Orlando Gatti, a very annoying self made goal in the 37th minute which led to 0-2. Hugo Orlando Gatti made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Flavio Leobardo in the 40th minute of play. After 42 minutes of play, BloodHounds F.C.'s Flavio Leobardo made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hugo Orlando Gatti was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience thought a goal was coming when Vicente Santana got free with Astor Ruy in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Flavio Leobardo was the one to do the kick off. Flavio Leobardo might have been able to make a better finish in the 52nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hugo Orlando Gatti. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Flavio Leobardo ran back to his position shaking his head. Esteve Quintan ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on BloodHounds F.C.'s corner Gustav Cordera fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Hugo Orlando Gatti quite easily take care of the ball. Flavio Leobardo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hugo Orlando Gatti read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. In the 86th minute Bolo Bolaño shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Astor Ruy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Astor Ruy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Peyo Fonelleda in the 88th minute of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. BloodHounds F.C. walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
