Marcelinho Barral made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mario Zanabria in the 92nd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mario Zanabria in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcelinho Barral saved Roceira SC from getting behind. A collision led to Sporting de Gijón getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Eustacio Loiola hit a great ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Sporting de Gijón fans cheered their team off the field, for while Roceira SC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
