An unexpectedly hard shot by Omar Toledo in the 12th minute of play forced Gracie Barra's goalkeeper Falcão Cunha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Omar Toledo in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Falcão Cunha prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Falcão Cunha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adria Bielsa, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Falcão Cunha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vicente Merino in the 22nd minute of play. Augusto Saldanha's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gabriel Ascaso read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vicente Merino in the 24th minute of play forced Gracie Barra's goalkeeper Falcão Cunha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adria Bielsa in the 27th minute of play forced Gracie Barra's goalkeeper Falcão Cunha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Falcão Cunha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jon Cubero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Gracie Barra's Emanuel de Lara slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Gabriel Ascaso. That made the score 2-0 after 31 minutes of play. After 38 minutes of play, Spain's Adria Bielsa made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Falcão Cunha was left in no man's land by his defense there! Gracie Barra's Falcão Cunha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adria Bielsa in the 43rd minute of play. After 44 minutes Gracie Barra's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Omar Toledo who took care of the corner kick. Augusto Saldanha scored 3-1 in the 47th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gabriel Ascaso, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

The wind increased when Augusto Saldanha made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Augusto Saldanha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gabriel Ascaso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gracie Barra's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-3. Falcão Cunha made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Omar Toledo sent off a good shot on target. In the 69th minute Augusto Saldanha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gabriel Ascaso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Spain booed when Gracie Barra was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pedro Velloso didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gracie Barra's Nilton Botelho was substituted for Pedro Velloso. Gracie Barra's Snorri De Hond was substituted for Augusto Saldanha. In the 72nd minute, Pedro Velloso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gracie Barra's Falcão Cunha proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save Gracie Barra from getting a goal against them. In the 77th minute Carles Cherro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Falcão Cunha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 78th minute Snorri De Hond shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gabriel Ascaso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Spain's Sergio Ruiz was substituted for Adria Bielsa. Spain's Pau Herrero was substituted for David Aranda. 83 minutes had been played when some careless play by Spain's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Rubens Rezende made a great header on Gracie Barra's corner, it was just that Spain's Gabriel Ascaso managed to reach the ball for a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sergio Ruiz in the 84th minute of play forced Gracie Barra's goalkeeper Falcão Cunha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Olavo Costa was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 87 minutes into the match. When the match had been going on for 89 minutes, Spain's Jon Cubero got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Falcão Cunha. The crowd rose to their feet as Spain's Pau Herrero slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Falcão Cunha. That made the score 4-5 after 91 minutes of play. 95 minutes into the match, Snorri De Hond had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gabriel Ascaso. Spain's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Snorri De Hond was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-5. Gracie Barra's Falcão Cunha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sergio Ruiz in the 97th minute of play. Gabriel Ascaso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Snorri De Hond in the 99th minute of play. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Spain players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
