With an all-out effort, Legia Warszawa 【L】's Henrich Slany threw himself towards the right post 3 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Bogdan Poreda, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. With his leg Henrich Slany managed to avoid a goal in the 4thth minute, when Legia Warszawa 【L】's Cezary Kucharski fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When the match clock showed 12 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Cezary Kucharski sped through Slovakia's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Henrich Slany. It was beautiful to see Slovakia's Pavol Koleno in action when he in the 17th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! A hard shot 19 in the game by Cezary Kucharski from a close distance when the talented Henrich Slany managed to make a qualified save. Slovakia's players were relieved. With a little luck, Slovakia's Henrich Slany got control of the ball when Cezary Kucharski tried to sneak it across the goal line. 26 minutes into the match, Legia Warszawa 【L】's Cezary Kucharski sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Henrich Slany narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Kornel Jahoda kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Cezary Kucharski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Henrich Slany made a huge save. The Legia Warszawa 【L】 fans' excitement grew in the 38th match minute when Legia Warszawa 【L】's Cezary Kucharski looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Henrich Slany came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by Legia Warszawa 【L】's Cezary Kucharski. But to his dismay, Cezary Kucharski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. After 47 minutes, Cezary Kucharski made it 6-0 with a short kick to the right side. Slovakia's Henrich Slany tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 6-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cezary Kucharski stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Kornel Jahoda hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. In the 54th match minute, Slovakia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vavrinec Koleno to maneuver through the defense. In the 55thth minute of the game Cezary Kucharski who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Slovakia's Henrich Slany was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 57th minute, Marek Sagan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Henrich Slany was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0. An unexpected shot in the 64th minute by Metod Mlynar got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After 66 minutes of play, Legia Warszawa 【L】's Cezary Kucharski made it 9-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Henrich Slany was left in no man's land by his defense there! 69 minutes into the game, Cezary Kucharski cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 10-0. Henrich Slany was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the match clock showed 73 minutes, the score became 11-0 when Cezary Kucharski sped through Slovakia's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Henrich Slany. When the match clock showed 78 minutes, the score became 12-0 when Marek Sagan sped through Slovakia's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Henrich Slany. Legia Warszawa 【L】 made a substitution. Lech Trac replaced Mariusz Jop. In the 84th minute, Oliver Holub hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Oliver Holub had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some careless play in the Slovakia defense, Cezary Kucharski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Henrich Slany. The Slovakia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Henrich Slany should have stopped the shot. Cezary Kucharski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Henrich Slany tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Slovakia getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Vavrinec Koleno hit a great ball. Henrich Slany stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cezary Kucharski's shot from short distance in the 94th minute. 96 minutes into the game, Legia Warszawa 【L】's Cezary Kucharski nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Henrich Slany made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 14-0. Legia Warszawa 【L】 walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
