Silvestre Garin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Balazs Lajos in the 11th minute of the match. In the 12th minute Hungary were awarded a corner. Antal Valentin went to the cornerflag to take it. Fodor Daniel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nemesio Tirso in the 15th minute of the match. Antal Valentin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silvestre Garin having to interfere. Justino Bastia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fodor Daniel having to interfere. Major Barna fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silvestre Garin having to interfere. 21 minutes into the match, Hungary's goal looked a bit too open when Nemesio Tirso came free, but Fodor Daniel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 25 minutes into the match, Domingo Baraquiel had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fodor Daniel. Hungary's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Domingo Baraquiel was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. When the match clock showed 29 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Balazs Lajos sped through EL REY DE LA CARNE's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Silvestre Garin. Antal Valentin might have been able to make a better finish in the 38th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Silvestre Garin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Antal Valentin ran back to his position shaking his head. After having played for 42 minutes, Gregorio Primo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. EL REY DE LA CARNE's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gregorio Primo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 44 minutes into the match, Hungary's goal looked a bit too open when Nemesio Tirso came free, but Fodor Daniel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Segundo Perpinya stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After having played for 53 minutes, Balazs Lajos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hungary's supporters crossed their fingers, but Balazs Lajos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Antal Valentin got free with Silvestre Garin in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 57 minutes into the match, Hungary's goal looked a bit too open when Justino Bastia came free, but Fodor Daniel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Major Barna's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Silvestre Garin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. Fodor Daniel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Segundo Perpinya's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. In the 66th minute Major Barna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silvestre Garin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 71st minute, Nemesio Tirso left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The EL REY DE LA CARNE fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Major Barna in the 85thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Silvestre Garin, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Fodor Daniel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Segundo Perpinya, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nemesio Tirso in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fodor Daniel saved Hungary from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in EL REY DE LA CARNE's zone, Major Barna stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Silvestre Garin came out of the goal and Major Barna tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hungary's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because EL REY DE LA CARNE had won, even though Hungary had held more of the ball.
