Valdemar Turecek kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Vavrinec Holub made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Salim Bougherra in the 36th minute of play. Denis Dostal took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Salah Hamid Brahima. Salim Bougherra could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Vavrinec Holub made a huge save. In the 47th minute, Kvetoslav Janku hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Paris Saint-Germain F.C's Salim Bougherra shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 48th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Vavrinec Holub but with some difficulty. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vavrinec Holub prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Vavrinec Holub took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Atlas Albändiyev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vavrinec Holub showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Djamel Mamouni in the 92nd minute of the match. The supporters of Paris Saint-Germain F.C booed when Czech Republic was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kvetoslav Janku didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sid Ahmed Kader sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. There was no doubt that Paris Saint-Germain F.C were the better team. Paris Saint-Germain F.C's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
