In the 43rd minute Evert Gunnarsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mathias Barreto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frank Sachs, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Frank Sachs stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Nils-Erik Sjögren scored 1-0 in the 69th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tommy Kahn, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Mathias Barreto made an important save on a dangerous shot by Frank Sachs in the 76th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Raw BK's zone, Frank Sachs stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mathias Barreto came out of the goal and Frank Sachs tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nils-Erik Sjögren's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tommy Kahn read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 80th minute of play. After having played for 81 minutes, Frank Sachs managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Germany's supporters crossed their fingers, but Frank Sachs was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Viktor Hermansson kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. After 86 minutes, Chris Mergenthaler mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Germany and the Raw BK players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Germany's Chris Mergenthaler got a free kick in the 87th minute. Frank Sachs took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mathias Barreto. Mathias Barreto dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Frank Sachs hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. In the 96th minute Evert Gunnarsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
