Baltasar Matias didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hungary. Hungary's Antal Valentin got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Baltasar Matias took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antal Valentin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fodor Daniel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gervásio Severiano in the 10th minute of the match. If Hegedus Henrik had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the VB-Team defense, Major Barna kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Baltasar Matias. The VB-Team fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Baltasar Matias should have stopped the shot. Gervásio Severiano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Baltasar Matias showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antal Valentin in the 18th minute of the match. 23 minutes into the match, Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luís Braga. In the 23rd minute, Luís Braga reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Fodor Daniel. The goal made the score 1-1. With a little luck, Hungary's Fodor Daniel got control of the ball when Luís Braga tried to sneak it across the goal line. Balazs Lajos struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Baltasar Matias didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hungary. In the 31st minute Balazs Lajos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baltasar Matias saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gervásio Severiano in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fodor Daniel saved Hungary from getting behind. If Hegedus Henrik had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Baltasar Matias showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hegedus Henrik in the 41st minute of the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Antal Valentin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 54 minutes into the match, Luís Braga had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fodor Daniel. Hungary's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luís Braga was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. When the match had gone on for 57 minutes, Joaquim de Barros put it in 3-1 from a short distance just to the right of Fodor Daniel. 69 minutes into the match, Hungary's goal looked a bit too open when Joaquim de Barros came free, but Fodor Daniel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. VB-Team's Luís Caeiro was substituted for Joaquim de Barros. The audience was convinced that Gervásio Severiano's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fodor Daniel was relentless in the 77th minute of the game. Baltasar Matias was a little too slow when Antal Valentin got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 82nd minute. The score was now 3-2. The corner led VB-Team's Qiu Sheng Bang to fire away a dangerous shot which Fodor Daniel despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 90th minute Luís Caeiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fodor Daniel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 94th minute, Luís Caeiro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fodor Daniel was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-2. When the referee blew the final whistle, VB-Team could leave the field as winners, despite Hungary having more of the ball for most of the match.
