In the 23rd minute, Marcin Hodyl reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Fodor Daniel. The goal made the score 1-0. Takacs Tibor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. AnkaraGücü SK's Edward Gecionis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Major Barna in the 27th minute of play. Edward Gecionis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Major Barna, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. If Antal Valentin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edward Gecionis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Takacs Tibor, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Edward Gecionis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antal Valentin in the 47th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Antal Valentin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. AnkaraGücü SK's Edward Gecionis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save AnkaraGücü SK from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Hungary's Boros Benedek got a free kick in the 52nd minute. With a little luck, AnkaraGücü SK's Edward Gecionis got control of the ball when Antal Valentin tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 86th minute the ball was on its way in behind Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 89 minutes into the match, AnkaraGücü SK's goalkeeper Edward Gecionis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Antal Valentin. Balazs Lajos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edward Gecionis having to interfere.
