Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Åke Bållström took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 4th match minute, FK Partizan Beograd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paolo Ramos to maneuver through the defense. Camille Baume received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Jan Laada tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Camille Baume's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jan Laada read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 7th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Åke Bållström's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Maxime Durand was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. In the 17th minute FK Partizan Beograd were awarded a corner. Svetoje Tankosić went to the cornerflag to take it. Maxime Durand showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Åke Bållström in the 20th minute of the match. Jan Laada showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Camille Baume, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. With his leg Maxime Durand managed to avoid a goal in the 26thth minute, when FK Partizan Beograd's Aćim Ajdarić fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Jan Laada made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frank Peletier in the 31st minute of play. Aćim Ajdarićs short, quick shot in the 33rdth minute got Maxime Durand to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Åke Bållström in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Maxime Durand prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 37th minute, Paolo Ramos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, FK Partizan Beograd's Srđa Vulić got a free kick in the 42nd minute. When Frank Peletier came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the France fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Frank Peletier couldn't finish the play. In the 45th minute, Jevtimije Basara hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Maxime Durand showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Åke Bållström, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute.

Jan Laada was out of position in the 51 minute of play, and Frank Peletier capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Frank Peletier really showed his touch with that goal: 0-1. Frank Peletier could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Jan Laada made a huge save. Paolo Ramos kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Frank Peletier's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 58thth minute, Jan Laada skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 65 minutes into the match, FK Partizan Beograd's goalkeeper Jan Laada had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Frank Peletier. Despite this Maxime Durand quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 77th match minute, France was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Quentin Beaux to maneuver through the defense. After 81 played minutes FK Partizan Beograd got a freekick which was hit by Nikola Radošević. In the 82nd minute of the match, Frank Peletier got a very nice opportunity to score, but Jan Laada was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 84th minute, Svetoje Tankosić hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. France's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
