Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Daniel Hagedorn started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After 7 played minutes Rapid Wien got a freekick which was hit by Kurt Helbig. If Major Barna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alf Tempel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antal Valentin in the 15th minute of the match. In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind Rapid Wien's goalkeeper Alf Tempel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 21st match minute, Hungary was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bakos Endre to maneuver through the defense. In the 27th minute, Hegedus Henrik hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Hungary's zone, Robin Dommröse stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fodor Daniel came out of the goal and Robin Dommröse tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 30th match minute, Rapid Wien was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Robin Dommröse to maneuver through the defense. Alf Tempel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Major Barna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Rapid Wien booed when Hungary was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bakos Endre didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 37th minute, Kurt Helbig hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bakos Endre made in the 39th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Rapid Wien's Mirco Kähler. Fodor Daniel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robin Dommröse, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Hegedus Henrik kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. After 43 played minutes, Rapid Wien's Mirco Kähler shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Fodor Daniel came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Rapid Wien reached it. Antal Valentin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Antal Valentin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Alf Tempel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Major Barna got free with Alf Tempel in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Alf Tempel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antal Valentin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 58 minutes Rapid Wien's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Antal Valentin who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Hegedus Henrik got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Alf Tempel quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 60th match minute, Rapid Wien was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Uwe Kitzbichler to maneuver through the defense. Mirco Kähler hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Major Barnas short, quick shot in the 76thth minute got Alf Tempel to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Alf Tempel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Major Barna in the 80th minute. Antal Valentin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 84 played minutes Rapid Wien got a freekick which was hit by Lars Reicher. In the 88thth minute of the game Robin Dommröse who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hungary's Fodor Daniel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Alf Tempel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Major Barna in the 89th minute of play. In the 92nd match minute, Hungary was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Boros Benedek to maneuver through the defense. In the 94th minute, Mirco Kähler ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fodor Daniel was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Hungary's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Rapid Wien had won, even though Hungary had held more of the ball.
