The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Janusz Pusiak's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fodor Daniel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 7th minute of play. Tadeusz Rutkowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Balazs Lajos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dominik Lepper during the 15th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Dominik Lepper kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, 2kC Poznań's Dominik Lepper got a free kick in the 16th minute. 2kC Poznań's Tadeusz Rutkowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Major Barna in the 17th minute of play. 18 minutes had been played when some careless play by 2kC Poznań's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Antal Valentin was slow to take the kick. During this time Hungary's players had a chance to rest. Tadeusz Rutkowski didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Takacs Tibor went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After 28 minutes 2kC Poznań's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Antal Valentin who took care of the corner kick. After a rather tough play, 2kC Poznań's Tytus Dylla got a free kick in the 33rd minute. If Antal Valentin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fodor Daniel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dominik Lepper in the 43rd minute of the match. The 2kC Poznań players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Hungary were winning 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dominik Lepper to strike the kick off in the second half. If Major Barna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 60 minutes of play, 2kC Poznań's Janusz Pusiak made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fodor Daniel was left in no man's land by his defense there! After having played for 65 minutes, Dominik Lepper managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. 2kC Poznań's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dominik Lepper was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Balazs Lajos got free with Tadeusz Rutkowski in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 70 minutes into the match, Dominik Lepper had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fodor Daniel. Hungary's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dominik Lepper was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Katona Janos hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. After having played for 73 minutes, Edgar Turak managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. 2kC Poznań's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edgar Turak was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 78 played minutes 2kC Poznań got a freekick which was hit by Czeslaw Hoffman. 82 minutes into the match, 2kC Poznań's Ulryk Merski sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fodor Daniel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 84th minute of the match 2kC Poznań got a corner. Hungary's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Edgar Turak ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 84th minute, Fernando Ekialde hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tytus Dylla kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. When Tytus Dylla got the opportunity to take care of a free kick it resulted in a really dangerous shot that almost went in the goal. Instead the ball went too high, a missed opportunity for 2kC Poznań. Karol Marut hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Hungary's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because 2kC Poznań had won, even though Hungary had held more of the ball.
