Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Chris Nygaard got the match started through his kick off. Chris Nygaard received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Giannis Kassianidis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 12 minutes into the match, Petros Tzouroudis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Keld Paulsen. Denmark's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Petros Tzouroudis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Denmark's Chris Nygaard got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bertram Svenningsen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Giannis Kassianidis having to interfere. After 18 minutes, Zinon Anagnostou mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the AEK Lamia club and the Denmark players grew even worse after the yellow card. Giannis Kassianidis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bertram Svenningsen, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. In the 25th match minute, AEK Lamia club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isidoros Karamanis to maneuver through the defense. Manolis Karaiskakis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 31 minutes into the match, AEK Lamia club's Petros Tzouroudis sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Keld Paulsen narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Chris Nygaard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Keld Paulsen made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Petros Tzouroudis sent off a good shot on target. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Chris Nygaard in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Giannis Kassianidis saved AEK Lamia club from getting behind. In the 39th match minute, AEK Lamia club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zinon Anagnostou to maneuver through the defense. Lars Steen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Giannis Kassianidis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Chris Nygaard came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the Denmark fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Chris Nygaard couldn't finish the play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Petros Tzouroudis to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manolis Karaiskakis in the 58th minute of play forced Denmark's goalkeeper Keld Paulsen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Keld Paulsen came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by AEK Lamia club's Petros Tzouroudis. But to his dismay, Petros Tzouroudis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. 66 minutes into the game, Simon Bendtsen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Denmark's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave AEK Lamia club the free kick. Keld Paulsen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Manolis Karaiskakis's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. Keld Paulsen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manolis Karaiskakis in the 73rd minute of the match. In the 75th minute Petros Tzouroudis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Keld Paulsen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 75 minutes into the match, Petros Tzouroudis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Keld Paulsen. In the 77th match minute, Denmark was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Simon Bendtsen to maneuver through the defense. In the 79thth minute of the game Petros Tzouroudis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Denmark's Keld Paulsen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Isidoros Karamanis got his second yellow card in the match during the 80th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. 84 minutes into the match, Denmark's goal looked a bit too open when Manolis Karaiskakis came free, but Keld Paulsen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Keld Paulsen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manolis Karaiskakis, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. AEK Lamia club's Giannis Kassianidis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chris Nygaard in the 92nd minute of play. The AEK Lamia club support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
