Sixten Blomkvist hit a great ball. Paolo Rossi might have been able to make a better finish in the 5th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Phenix Wright. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Paolo Rossi ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 7thth minute of the game Paolo Rossi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rojals's Phenix Wright was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 10 minutes Montesacro FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Sandro Prieto who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Rojals's corner Sandro Prieto fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Giacomo Casanova quite easily take care of the ball. Paolo Rossi took the ball and in the 13 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Phenix Wright. Phenix Wright dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Giacomo Casanova showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Álmos Boda, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Álmos Boda in the 22nd minute of play forced Montesacro FC's goalkeeper Giacomo Casanova to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 24 minutes into the match, Paolo Rossi notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Rojals's Phenix Wright. Phenix Wright was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Mathias Almeyda struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Phenix Wright didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Montesacro FC. In the 28th minute Álmos Boda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Giacomo Casanova saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 29 minutes into the match, Paolo Rossi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Phenix Wright. Rojals's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Paolo Rossi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Phenix Wright took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Loco Palermo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Álmos Boda in the 34th minute of play forced Montesacro FC's goalkeeper Giacomo Casanova to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Giacomo Casanova showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Merlin Balmaceda in the 40th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Rojals's Emenon Romero got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Phenix Wright made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Loco Palermo in the 43rd minute of play. Giacomo Casanova made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mario Gibert in the 45th minute. Rojals's Phenix Wright played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paolo Rossi in the 47th minute of play.

Montesacro FC made a substitution. Dimitar Berbatov replaced Loco Palermo. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dimitar Berbatov was the one to do the kick off. Paolo Rossis short, quick shot in the 53rdth minute got Phenix Wright to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Phenix Wright didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Montesacro FC's Dimitar Berbatov shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-4 in the ordered_time% minute. Mathias Almeyda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Phenix Wright tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Paolo Rossi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Phenix Wright read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. Rojals's Phenix Wright proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save Rojals from getting a goal against them. 74 minutes into the match, Paolo Rossi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Phenix Wright. Rojals's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Paolo Rossi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. Rojals's Elpidio Griego was substituted for Pietro Clos. Phenix Wright showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dimitar Berbatov, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. After a rather tough play, Rojals's Álmos Boda got a free kick in the 91st minute. Paolo Rossi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Montesacro FC played a much better game than Rojals and deserved their victory. The Rojals players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
